Description

Learn how to sharpen and strengthen your life planning skills and fine-tune putting the EVOKE process into your practice via peer support and one-to-one mentoring.

1 of 3 REGISTERED LIFE PLANNER® courses.
Provides 8 CE hours for CFP® professionals.
Eligible for CPD Points/42.0 hours in the U.K.

This interactive mentorship program is the third, and usually final, step in achieving the Registered Life Planner® designation.

Through a mix of reviewing and creating client case studies, peer support (often with others from your EVOKE cohort), group video meetings, and one-to-one coaching calls with an experienced mentor, you’ll gain the confidence to deliver life planning to clients by helping them “live into” their goals and plans.

The six-month Life Planning Mentorship is a continuation of the deep learning of both The Seven Stages of Money Maturity® and the EVOKE Life Planning courses.

Within this interactive framework of peer-sharing and expert mentorship, you’ll examine and learn from real-life, post-training experiences by sharing your clients’ situations and problem-solving challenges you may be facing while implementing life planning into your new or existing practices.

Case Studies
Students present a current life planning client case from their practice and provide regular case updates for review.

Each case is carefully considered by student peers and by mentors, who will facilitate clarity and offer expertise and guidance to create the best planner and client experiences possible.

Group Video Conferences
These meetings allow participants and trainers to discuss topics (generated by participants) related to implementing life planning into their practices and check-in on how they are living into their life plans.

Peer Support
Students support and encourage each other through the mentorship program and practice integration issues, both in group conversations and in one-to-one communications.

Individual Mentoring
Students have regular one-to-one conversations with trainers who are long-term experts in putting life planning into practice.

Mentors focus on identifying students’ individual needs and offering developmental resources and opportunities, based on students’ actual life planning practice experiences and goals.

Comeback Days
Students attend three eight-hour training days that review each of the three main life planning meetings (Exploration, Vision, and Obstacles), respectively. These day-long sessions focus on giving students more time to practice their life planning skills in the presence of their peers and trainers, so they receive feedback and can continue to refine their practice.

"The Mentorship made me into a Life Planner. The immersive experience helped me take the skills I learned in the EVOKE® training and implement them in my practice, with support and guidance from mentors and fellow planners. The Mentorship gave me six months to transition to being a Life Planner and now that’s who I am."
